1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Zuro healthcare platform ("Zuro", "Platform", "Service"), operated by BartLabs Technologies Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company, governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2. Description of Service
Zuro is a comprehensive healthcare management platform designed for patients, healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies operating in India. The Platform enables users to:
- Store, organise, and manage medical records and health documents digitally
- Scan prescriptions using AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) and extract structured medication data
- Access Smart Rx features including drug interaction checks, medicine alternatives, and dosage information
- Set and manage medication reminders
- Book, manage, and track appointments with healthcare providers
- Share health records with authorised healthcare providers with explicit consent
- Enable healthcare providers to manage patients, issue digital prescriptions, and run clinical operations
- Allow hospitals and clinics to manage staff, appointments, billing, and operations
- Facilitate pharmacies in verifying and dispensing prescriptions
3. User Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or have a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf
- Be legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform
- For healthcare providers: hold valid and current registration with the appropriate medical council (e.g., NMC, state medical councils, Dental Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India)
- For hospitals and clinics: hold valid registration and licences as required under applicable state and central laws
4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@zurohealth.com of any unauthorised use of your account.
4.2 Account Types
- Patient Accounts: For individuals to manage personal health records, prescriptions, appointments, and medication reminders
- Doctor Accounts: For registered medical practitioners to manage patients, issue prescriptions, and conduct clinical workflows
- Hospital/Clinic Accounts: For healthcare facilities to manage services, staff (including doctors), operations, appointments, and billing
- Pharmacist Accounts: For licensed pharmacies to view and dispense prescriptions
- Admin Accounts: For platform administrators with elevated access for oversight and support
4.3 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to share your credentials, allow others to access your account, or do anything that might jeopardise the security of your account. We implement session timeouts, secure authentication via Firebase Auth, and encourage the use of strong passwords.

Important Medical Disclaimer
Zuro is a health record management and clinical workflow platform. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of information obtained through this Platform.
- The Platform does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations
- Medicine information, drug interactions, and alternatives shown are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute a prescription or medical advice
- Prescription scanning uses AI-powered OCR (Google Gemini) and may contain errors; always verify extracted data with your prescribing doctor or dispensing pharmacist
- Smart Rx suggestions (drug alternatives, interaction warnings, dosage information) are assistive tools only and must be verified by a qualified healthcare professional before acting upon them
- In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately; do not rely on this Platform
6. AI Features Disclaimer
The Platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, including Google Gemini AI, for features such as prescription OCR scanning and Smart Rx. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated outputs (extracted prescription data, medicine suggestions, interaction alerts) are assistive in nature and may not be 100% accurate
- AI features are not a replacement for the clinical judgement of a qualified healthcare professional
- Users (especially healthcare providers) must independently verify all AI-generated information before relying on it for clinical decisions
- The Company shall not be liable for any harm arising from reliance on AI-generated content without proper verification
- AI models may be updated, improved, or replaced, and outputs may vary over time
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful health information and personal details
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations
- Not share your account credentials with any third party
- Not upload malicious content, malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Not attempt to access other users' data without authorisation
- Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
- Comply with all applicable healthcare regulations, including the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002, where applicable
- Not use the Platform to send unsolicited communications or spam to other users
8. Provider Responsibilities and Verification
Healthcare providers (doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacists) using the Platform additionally agree to:
- Maintain valid and current registration with the relevant regulatory body (NMC, state medical council, Pharmacy Council, etc.)
- Provide accurate credential and verification documents during onboarding; the Company reserves the right to verify these documents and deny or revoke access if found invalid
- Ensure that all prescriptions issued through the Platform comply with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and applicable rules
- Not prescribe medications or provide medical advice through the Platform to patients they have not appropriately assessed
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with professional ethics and applicable data protection laws
- Notify the Company promptly if their registration or licence is suspended, revoked, or subject to disciplinary action
9. Data Collection, Usage, and Patient Data Ownership
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Key principles include:
- Data Ownership: Patients retain full ownership of their health records and personal data uploaded to the Platform. The Company does not claim ownership over user-generated health content.
- Data Portability: Patients have the right to export and download their health records at any time from their dashboard, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format where technically feasible.
- Consent-Based Processing: We process your personal data only with your informed consent or as permitted under the DPDP Act, 2023.
- No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or health records to any third party.
- Data Minimisation: We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the Service.
10. Subscription Plans and Payments
10.1 Free Tier
Patient accounts are free for core features including health record storage, prescription scanning, medication reminders, and appointment booking. The Company reserves the right to modify the features included in the free tier with prior notice.
10.2 Premium and Provider Plans
Healthcare providers (doctors, hospitals, clinics) may subscribe to paid plans for advanced features such as practice management, digital prescriptions, analytics, and multi-staff support. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase.
10.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your complete credit/debit card details or banking information on our servers. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy.
10.4 Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions, calculated from the date of purchase. After the 7-day period, subscription fees are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted to support@zurohealth.com with your order details. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
10.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
11. Support and Feedback
All users can submit support tickets and feature requests through the Help and Support section of their portal. By submitting feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the Platform without any obligation to compensate you.

- We aim to respond to all support tickets within 48 business hours
- Emergency security concerns may be reported to security@zuro.health
12. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, functionality, design, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology are owned by BartLabs Technologies Private Limited and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws of India and international treaties.
You retain full ownership of all health records, documents, prescriptions, and other content you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform or its content, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, unless expressly permitted by law.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, the Company, or third parties, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:
- Providing false or misleading registration information
- Violation of applicable laws or regulations
- Misuse of the Platform, including attempting unauthorised access to other users' data
- For providers: suspension or revocation of professional registration
- Non-payment of subscription fees
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records, legal compliance). Health records shared with healthcare providers may be retained by those providers as part of their clinical records, subject to applicable medical record retention laws.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
- The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-extracted prescription data, medicine information, drug interaction alerts, or any other AI-generated content; users are responsible for independently verifying all health-related information
- The Company is not liable for any clinical decisions made by healthcare providers using the Platform
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Company in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
- The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BartLabs Technologies Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Informal Resolution: In the event of any dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at support@zurohealth.com. We will endeavour to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
- Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended. The seat of arbitration shall be Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
- Jurisdiction: Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 15 days' prior notice via email or in-app notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service and may delete your account.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
